The Hudson Observer is a cultural and literary magazine covering arts, culture, business, and creative writing in Hudson and surrounding towns. 

The Hudson Observer champions reported storytelling, zooming in on the people, ideas, business, and communities that make Hudson thrive. Rather than hard news in the style of a daily or weekly newspaper, The Hudson Observer prioritizes engaging feature writing, telling deeply human stories told by living alongside them, written for everyone for whom here is home.

The Hudson Observer was founded, and is based, in Hudson, New York. It draws on the history, architecture, aesthetics, lives, and communities of the city for inspiration. Though The Hudson Observer’s feet are planted firmly in town, its head is in the clouds, as it seeks to publish creative writing that can be appreciated by anyone, from anywhere. 

The Hudson Observer is both online and in print, with an edition 10 times a year (skipping August and January). You can find print copies of The Hudson Observer at bookstores, bars, cafes, hotels, gas stations, and corner stores around town.
